Sweet, spine-tingling Saturday.

So, it has been a while. Life tends to get in the way, doesn’t it?

I have been packed with work (job #1 and job #2) as well as holiday business. I haven’t been as diligent as I could have been with posts, so here we are…

Late night after work and finding myself quite awake…what to do? I cleaned earlier today, so I feel like I deserve a peaceful evening. How about a little mystery and thrill to put me to bed…or keep me awake? Perhaps not the best idea, but I’ve had this show in my queue for a short time now so let us begin!

Dark. One word, but ever so mysterious. Is it the darkness we should be scared of? Is there a dark and sinister force we don’t know about? Or are we in the dark about what’s really going on? There are so many questions that come to mind just solely from the title of the show. This German thriller looks like it will be a multi-faceted show with intricate character development and plot twists.

You barely even get a taste of things to come from the trailer, but at least you know to pay attention to the when and not just the what, who or why.

I’ve barely started it, but I already feel a pull to know more. The intro alone is enough to entertain for a long time: it has a beautiful kaleidoscope effect. The cinematography alone is beautiful and extremely picturesque, making me think of far-away places I’d like to visit, but just perhaps not this town…

What would you do if a kid went missing in your small town? Would you let fear take over or would you investigate? The problem is is that maybe you don’t want to go too deep…that’s when you’ll find yourself in the dark.

What are you up to tonight? Care to join me? I do have cookies to share – a wonderful friend sent them to me by post.

Hence the sweet bit in the sweet, spine-tingling Saturday. Join me, why don’t you?
