October has begun, so what better way to spend the month than by exploring the mysterious and otherworldly?

I am going to forego my normal Murder Monday and open it up to fiction, superstition and all things spooky! It’s what October is all about, is it not?

To begin this month, as part of the book club that I am a part of, a book was chosen. To keep in line with the unnatural, ‘tis a tale of a witch who has spent time trying to hide her talents so as to not draw suspicion to herself.

After being around for centuries, she finally finds a little town where she feels she may have found a safe space…and also friendship. A friendship that may be alluring, but what might the cost be?

As I have only just begun the book, I too still have to wait and find out! They say patience is a virtue, do you agree? What books are you reading and shows are you watching to get in the Halloween spirit?
